Cooling and CO2 reduction

The ice record indicates that cooling and CO2 reduction are ‘associated’.

The obverse of the assertion ‘Anthropogenic emissions cause Global Warming’ is that ‘Reducing Anthropogenic emissions cause Global Cooling or, at least, reduce the rate of warming”.

The recent cooling period 1940 to 1975 and ‘level’ period 200 to 2016 were, hwever, associated with rapidly rising CO2 levels.

The ice-record indicates that Global Cooling precedes CO2 levels falling and that these associated effects occur over a very long (for humans) timescale.

Even if you believe in CO2 being the great Climate Change villain, these observations should cause ‘Net Zero’ zealots to pause to think about their actions.

The Cardinal model indicates that unless CO2 levels are brought to well below 200ppm, the impact on Greenhouse Warming by CO2 will be minimal. At these levels of CO2, the survival of green-plants dependent on photosynthesis.

The summary for this page is that limiting or reducing fossil fuel burning will have no effect on climate whatsoever.

If we continue to wreck our economies which are already nearing bankruptcy and the Modern Warm periods warm to 'dangerous' levels there will be no capacity to mitigate this.

That sea level continues to rise and ice continues to melt is a forgone conclusion. This cannot be blamed on industrialisation burning fossil fuels..

Our only hope is for the natural factors that brought about the Litttle Ice Age (1300 to 1850) return but 'not quite as cold - please'.
