Land-use change for agriculture and urbanisation as well as increasing pollution have an effect on biodiversity and local climate.
Chapter 2 (pp 175-190) discusses human influence in a wider context. It does not delve into the level of detail that is possible when considering natural cycles, pollution and loss off biodivesity.
Chapter 13 (pp 427-432) goes into slightly more detail about two important natural cycles: Water and Carbon
